Growing up as a child in Cameroon, my father while mentioning great minds like Nelson Mandela, talked about the great Nigerian journalist Babafemi Ojudu who fought against the military regime with his pen in Nigeria.
In Journalism school I researched his works and brave front for democracy in Nigeria. He became my Hero.
Thanks to social media platforms, I follow his work diligently and volunteered my services as his social media strategist and editor.
Interestingly, via these platforms a foreigner can get to know of the innovative things the government – especially the office of the Vice President – is doing to empower Nigerians, both economically and politically.
The Distinguished Senator Babafemi Ojudu is that friend and mentor you will need in your corner when life gives you lemons.
He will not only teach you how to make lemonade with them, he will also teach you to not only consume them, but to pay it forward by building resilient communities and individuals from the lessons learned.
