Anytime I think of you, the first thing that comes to mind is gratitude. Gratitude to God for giving me a father like you. Gratitude for your wisdom, your heart, your character, and your existence.
You’ve always given me the best and nothing less. From the best saxophone from South Africa to the best remedies for my sinusitis. You’ve always accommodated my inquisitiveness and fed my hunger to know more. Because of you , I’ve always wanted to be better at anything I do.
Your humility, your innate kindness. Your ability to treat everyone around you as equals.
Your humour , your smile and your wit. Your captivating personality. Your ability to enter a room and own it.
Your ability to think fast, your introspection.
Daddy, you’ve always made me feel special , like a princess and I hope I make you feel special too. You are one of my best friends. You are the coolest 60 year old I know.
One thing I am certain of is that age has never been and will never be a limitation for you. You are young at heart and your mind is as sharp as ever. I wish you happiness, good health, joy, fulfillment, and peace for the rest of your days. I pray that one day I will be able to repay you in many folds for all the seeds that you have sown in my life.
Welcome to 60 daddy, this is where life becomes sweet.
With all my love,
